Finding Joy in the Middle of the Mess

There are seasons that are both wonderful and challenging.

Renovating a space. Traveling with family. Hosting for the holidays.

You want to savor it, but the stress gets loud. The chaos takes over.

You find yourself waiting for it to be over before you relax and enjoy.

The truth is, joy and stress can coexist.

Joy isn’t only for when things are calm or perfect.

It’s something we can practice and choose, right in the middle of the mess.

Here are three small ways to reconnect with it:

  1. Pause and notice - one small thing that’s good right now.

  2. Name the moment - “This is joy underneath the chaos.”

  3. Zoom out - remember why you’re doing this in the first place.

You don’t have to wait for the renovation to finish or the trip to end to feel good.

Joy is available right here, right now, in the middle of the imperfect and beautiful life you’re living. Be sure to listen to my podcast "Thriving on Purpose” tomorrow, where I will talk more about this and how it comes into play in my own life!

Coaching is a space to pause, reflect, and rediscover that joy.

If you’re ready to bring more calm, presence, and clarity into your daily life, let’s talk.
