Running a Coaching Business During a War

[I started writing this post in the morning and was interrupted by a siren. I realized that I never hit send, so sending this later than I planned. It’s all part of going with the flow…]
While this is not the first war since I started my coaching business, I find myself more distracted, less productive, and with fewer creative juices than usual.
In the past, I would have felt guilty, pushed myself to do more, and given myself a hard time about it. But this time, I am approaching things differently.
I am still prioritizing showing up fully for my clients in our sessions. But the backend parts of my business can wait. The new workshop I am creating for young women who are dating, Dating with Clarity, which I am so excited about, will happen after Passover, when things feel calmer.
For now, I am letting things unfold more gently. I am creating when inspiration comes, and trusting that there will be quieter times ahead, when my kids are back in school, my routine is steadier, and I have more space, energy, and creativity.
I am not rushing to get it all done, because that is not where my best work comes from.
So if you are feeling something similar, I want to invite you to show up in the ways that feel right for you right now, and to give yourself grace and patience as you move through these challenging days. Some things are essential, and some things can wait.
Sending so much love and strength.
