I’m Stepping Away from Social Media

After a lot of thought, I’ve made a decision that might surprise you.
At the end of this month, I’m stepping away from social media.
This isn’t a rash decision. It’s something I’ve been feeling for a while - an inner tug telling me that the way I’m currently engaging online no longer aligns with how I want to live, work, or show up.
Social media has brought me a lot over the years - connection, growth, and visibility. But it’s also brought some things I didn’t ask for - distraction, comparison, pressure to be constantly “on.”
Lately, I’ve found myself:
Checking in more often than I want to
Scrolling mindlessly with no purpose
Feeling mentally cluttered and energetically scattered
So I’m giving myself permission to stop.
Not because I don’t care about staying connected - but because I care deeply about how I show up. I want my presence to come from a place of intention, not obligation. Creativity, not comparison. Peace, not pressure.
Here’s what this means:
I’ll still be sharing reflections and resources through this weekly newsletter, my podcast and LinkedIn
You’ll still be able to connect with me through coaching, email or my website
I’m not disappearing - just choosing a different way to be visible
If you’ve ever felt the tug to reevaluate your relationship with social media (or anything else that you feel no longer serves you), know that you’re not alone. You have permission to slow down, step back, and do things differently.
And I’ll be here - cheering you on, sharing from the quiet, and choosing a path that feels more aligned.
