Taking a Break From it All

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned - and that I share often - is that we don’t wait until our tanks are completely empty before we pause.

We pause at a quarter tank.

We notice the subtle signs.

The short fuse.

The scattered mind.

The deep sighs between tasks.

And when we notice them, we choose to step away - not as a luxury, but as a necessity.

So I’m taking my own advice and leading by example.

I’ll be stepping away from podcasts, emails, and regular content from July 6th through August 12th.

This intentional break is a time for me to rest, refuel, reflect, and evaluate so I can return with clarity, fresh energy, and renewed purpose.

And I want to gently encourage you to consider doing the same in whatever way you can. Whether it's an hour, a day, or a few weeks, give yourself permission to pause.

You don’t have to earn rest by running yourself into the ground.

Rest is part of the rhythm of a full life.

I’ll miss connecting with you during this time, but I’m looking forward to returning with new insights, stories, and resources to support you.

Wishing you a summer season of deep breaths and intentional pauses.
