Waiting is Not a Strategy

I am the kind of person who takes swift action.

I see a need, I have a want - I go for it.

I do the research, ask the questions, figure out the steps and I make it happen.

Why not? Why hesitate? Why wait?

Life is short and there is a lot I want to do, build, experience, and become.

Delaying is not a tactic that I find useful. It usually keeps me stuck, unable to move forward.

Do I make mistakes? Yup!

Do I learn from them? Absolutely

And I often wonder to myself, why do people hesitate so often? Why do they wait, not respond, not finalize? Why don’t they just decide?

Maybe you are unsure if it’s the right decision.

Maybe you are scared it won’t work.

Maybe you are scared it will.

Whatever the reason, it is delaying progress. Delaying the result you want.

Waiting has a cost.

Life is short. Go after what you want. Stop being afraid you will make mistakes, because you will anyway. Just learn from them and move forward!

Make the call.

Send the message.

Book the thing.

Start the project.

Have the conversation.

The time is now!
