What I Was Reminded of in My Own Coaching Session

I ended my own coaching call yesterday realizing something quite profound.

I knew it intellectually before, but this time I felt it in my body and in my heart.

Talking through something with a seasoned coach, someone who knows how to listen deeply and ask the right questions, can lead to real breakthroughs. The clarity did not come from outside of me. It was already there. The coaching space simply helped me uncover it.

That is what good coaching really is.

A coach does not hold all the answers. They help you slow down enough to hear your own wisdom. They reflect what you cannot see in the moment. They ask the questions that open a new door in your thinking.

I often tell my clients that a coach is a bit like a traffic cop. They do not choose the destination for you, but they help you find the right path to get there.

Yesterday I was reminded how powerful that process is, even for those of us who live and breathe this work.

If you have been holding something alone, turning it over and over in your mind, you do not need to figure it out by yourself. Sometimes one conversation can change the way you see everything.

I have a few openings for one-on-one coaching this month. If you would like to explore what that could look like for you, simply reply to this email and we will take it from there.

Wishing you a week of clarity and gentle forward movement.
